Insurance
Anyone who plans to drive one of our vans must have their own personal auto insurance with primary liability coverage and collision coverage. Each driver must submit their proof of insurance online in advance and be added to the rental agreement before they are eligible to drive one of our vans.
Driver’s License:
A valid driver’s license must be presented. Acceptable licenses include those issued by the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. An International Driver’s Permit and your home country’s license is required for anyone visiting from countries other than the three listed above. However, all drivers do need to carry their own personal auto insurance policy with primary liability and collision coverage.
Driving Age:
You must be 25 years or older with a valid US driver’s license to rent and drive one of our 15 passenger vans. We do allow drivers age 21-24 for an additional underage driver fee. Nobody under 21 years old is allowed to drive our vans. Underage drivers must be approved by Sobro5Transport, LLC in advance.
Payment:
Payments may be made by credit card, debit card, check or wire transfer, however, if you pay by check or wire, we must have a major credit card on file at the start of the rental for incidentals.
How to reserve a van?

If you plan to take the van into Mexico, please indicate this in the Notes/Comments section when making your reservation.
Mexican auto insurance is required. Mexican insurance must be purchased separately before entering Mexico. We can assist you with obtaining the required Mexican insurance.
Please contact us if you have any questions about traveling to Mexico with a Sobro5Transport rental van.
No Smoking Policy:
There is no smoking allowed in our vans. You will be charged a mandatory $250 cleaning fee if there’s evidence of smoking in our van during your rental, including cigarette butts, ash, or a lingering scent of smoke.
How many miles can I drive?
We allow 200 free miles per day over the course of your rental. We charge $0.30 per mile over that limit.
Cleaning:

Cancellations made within this 48-hour period prior to your rental are subject to a one-day rental charge.
Pick Up and Return Times:
